J.Herbin’s 1670 Anniversary Series of inks are all gold shimmering inks. The writing samples in the photos were written on Clairefontaine paper. Ink-friendly paper is important for the shimmering effect of these inks.
The Jacques Herbin 1798 inks are silver shimmering inks.
The 350th Anniversary ink has both silver and gold shimmer, creating a champagne gold effect.
Our ink samples are packaged in tight-capped vials and contain 3ml of ink per sample (sometimes a bit more).
