Jacques Herbin’s Scented Collection includes four inks that combine deep colors and evocative scents of memory and travel. Scented Inks develop subtle hints of honey or lime, with musky or floral inflections.
 
This pack includes all four colors of scented inks in the Jacques Herbin Collection.
 
Ambre insouciance is a vibrant and luminous yellow, scented with linden (a yellow flowering tree) and cardamom.
Bleu plentitude is a serene yet intense blue, with a slight teal undertone, and evokes musky scents of green herbs, orange blossom and fresh cut hay.
Brun prevenance is a warm and earthy brown, scented with smoked honeyed tea amended with neroli and vetiver.
Noir inspiration is a deep and dark black, evoking scents of tobacco, moss and vetiver.
 
Herbin has been making inks since the 17th century, when Jacques brought exotic ingredients back from his travels across the oceans.
 
Herbin inks are made in France with all natural dyes and are pH neutral, making them wonderful inks for writing and artwork.
 
Our ink samples are packaged in tight-capped vials and contain 3ml of ink per sample (sometimes a bit more).
