Description
Made in Kyoto, Japan, Kyo no Oto is a series of writing inks that reproduce the traditional Japanese colors used since the Heian period with modern techniques and interpretations. They are produced in small batches and each name reveals both a color and a story.
Moegi iro refers to a yellowish green color like young leaves that sprout in early spring. It is a color that symbolizes youth, and was touted as a youth color in the Heian period.
Because they are produced by the TAG Stationery store in Kyoto, they are also known as TAG or TAG Kyoto inks.
This ink is offered in a 40ml bottle.
